About Spellbound

Spellbound began its journey in 2005 as a little fashion boutique tucked away in Far East Plaza. With its distinctive wallpaper and eclectic, almost vintage vibe, the space was a hidden gem filled with thoughtfully curated pieces from Hong Kong and Thailand. It became a haven for those seeking fashion with character.

A few years in, we expanded to Millenia Walk

with our very own label — a bold step forward

that sadly ended within two years due to

low footfall. Still, our original Far East Plaza

store remained strong, eventually merging with

Func Deko, a concept shop I had started

two years earlier. Together, they grew a

loyal community of regulars who kept us going

through the seasons.

Then came Covid — and like many small businesses, we had to close our shutters. As a single stay-at-home mom to two children, I chose to continue the heart of Spellbound in a way that fits my life today — through the online space.

Now, Spellbound lives on through Instagram and this website — still guided by the same eye for detail, love for fashion, and deep appreciation for the community that has supported us all these years.

Most of the pieces you see here are modelled by me — I wear a UK 10–12 and stand at 160cm tall. I do not have the perfect model figure, but I believe it’s important to give you a real, relatable sense of how the clothes fall and move on an everyday body. I hope this helps you visualise the fit more comfortably and confidently when choosing pieces for yourself.
