How to measure your PIT to PIT

Stand straight and relaxed.

Use a soft measuring tape and measure from one armpit to the other end around your chest.

Make sure the tape is snug but not tight, and that it lies flat against your chest.
FOR YOUR WAIST:
Stand upright and relaxed.

Locate your natural waistline – this is typically the narrowest part of your torso, just above your belly button and below your ribcage.

Wrap the soft measuring tape around your waist, keeping it level and parallel to the floor.

Make sure the tape is snug but not tight – it should sit comfortably against your skin without compressing.

Breathe normally and take the measurement without holding your breath.
FOR THE HIPS:
To check if a bottom or dress will fit well at the hips, follow these steps:

Stand with your feet together, in a natural and relaxed position.

Wrap a soft measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks. This is usually about 7–9 inches (18–23 cm) below your natural waistline.

Make sure the tape is level all around (parallel to the floor) and lies flat against your body without digging in or hanging loose.

Note the number where the tape meets — this is your hip measurement (in full circumference).
Compare your hip measurement to the size chart or product listing. For non-stretch or fitted items, allow some room (about 1–2 inches or 2.5–5 cm) for comfort.
